First Holy Communion Preparation for Children

Preparation to receive First Holy Communion is offered through the Religious Education Program. Children must be baptized and at least 8 years old or in the 2nd grade. Classes begin in October and the reception of First Holy Communion takes place in late April or early May. Weekly attendance of preparation classes is mandatory. The sacrament of Holy Communion follows the sacrament of First Reconciliation (Confession).

First Holy Communion Preparation for Adults

Adults who have not yet received first Holy Communion can be prepared for this sacrament through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.
