Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary – Monday December 9th: Mass & Celebration

Holy Day Mass & Celebration

This year the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is transferred to Monday, Dec. 9 as to not conflict with the second Sunday of Advent. December 9, 2024, IS a Holy Day of Obligation for Catholics in the United States.  While this has not been the case in the past when Holy Days have been transferred, it is this year, per the bishops.

Mass for the Holy Day here will be at 12:10PM & 6:00PM

Please contact the office if you have any questions!

There will be a patronal feast celebration right after Mass in Old Hennessy’s from 7:00-9:30 PM (immediately after the 6:00 PM Mass), potluck style.  If you plan to attend, please bring a hearty dish to pass!  We will provide the beverages, beer, and cake to celebrate the day!
