After 18 years of service to the parish with religious education, youth group functions, and sacramental preparation, Kacey Kersman has decided to retire from her position as DRE.
We wish to thank her for her dedication and commitment and wish her all the best with her future endeavors. She and her family will remain in our prayers.
That said, she has emphatically noted that she and her family aren’t going anywhere! They wish to remain involved in parish life and volunteer their time in whatever ways they can.
From Kacey:
“I would like to thank the entire congregation for your support over the last 18 years as I retire from my position as the Director of Religious Education. I have enjoyed the opportunity of getting to know many of you and working with you and your children. It has been an honor to have helped over 700 children prepare and receive their sacraments. I have learned a great deal during my tenure as the DRE and appreciate the support and involvement of many wonderful parents and volunteers that contributed supplies, their time, and their effort showing their commitment to the children in our churches and in our community.
My work with the parishioners of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception will always be fondly remembered and cherished.
I am confident the parish will continue to grow and offer great programs to our families.
Blessings, Kacey Kersman”
From Fr. Kyle:
“On behalf of the staff and the whole parish community, I want to sincerely thank Kacey Kersman for her many years of dedicated service to our parish. The impact she has had on forming children and families to follow Jesus will continue to be felt around our community for many years. We can’t thank you enough Kacey!
Please pray for Kacey in this time of transition and thank her when you see her around.”
