The Holy See Press Office has released additional details regarding Thursday’s funeral Mass for Pope Benedict XVI (prayers and readings for the funeral). The funeral begins at 9:30 a.m. Rome time (3:30 a.m. ET). Priests have been asked to offer a Mass for the repose of the soul of Pope Benedict XVI at their parish on Thursday. Bishop Walkowiak will celebrate the 12:05 p.m. Mass at the cathedral.
