Invitation from Bishop Walkowiak: To Pray an Act of Reparation on June 16, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart
The USCCB is inviting Catholics to pray an act of reparation on June 16, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Bishop Walkowiak joins Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, USCCB president, Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan, chairman of the USCCB’s Committee for Religious Liberty, and Archbishop José H. Gomez of Los Angeles in this call to prayer and invites the clergy, religious and lay faithful of our diocese to pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart on June 16 to make “an act of reparation for the blasphemies against our Lord we see in our culture today.”
To help promote this call to prayer, a web page has been published to the diocesan website at https://grdiocese.org/catholics-invited-to-pray-an-act-of-reparation-on-solemnity-of-the-sacred-heart/, and social media posts, which will be published this evening to our diocesan Facebook page and Twitter, can be shared.
